New Faces on the Land
As retreat season gets underway, we wanted to share a few of the new faces at RMERC shaping our work. In different ways, they bring our mission to life, co-creating a place for practice, learning, and connection in nature.
Tending to the Land
Kristen Cox
Kristen Cox joined RMERC this season as Resident Manager and Land Steward, supporting both the land and the day-to-day rhythm of retreats.
Her connection to the center began through the Return to Source retreat in 2025, where the integration of practice, feminist ecology, and relational mindfulness left a lasting impression.Â
That experience eventually led her here from North Carolina to continue a path of hospitality, community accountability, and accessibility to wild lands after 25 years of working in the nonprofit, community development sector and stewarding Respite in the Round as a sole proprietorship. You can reach out to her by email at [email protected].
Shaping Our Work
Imtiaz Rangwala
A meditation teacher in the lineage of Cold Mountain Zen. He is a co-founder of Boundless in Motion (BIM). Professionally, he is a Climate Scientist at the University of Colorado in Boulder where he provides climate science expertise to people managing our land, water and wildlife.
Luna Rosal
A community organizer along the Front Range, Luna brings a background in environmental justice, Buddhist practice, and community and board leadership to the center. They also support the center as a retreat cook, sourcing produce from local farms and helping pilot a compost system.

robyn.e
robyn.e works across nonprofit, government, and community-based settings, with a focus on environmental sustainability, equity, and collaborative partnerships. Her meditation practice and involvement in Dharma communities continue to shape her approach to collective care and relationship with people and place.

We’re so grateful for the people who make this place what it is. We could not do it without them.
