Welcome our New Executive Director Carter Wiesman
We are thrilled to announce that Carter Wiesman has been selected as the next Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Eco-dharma Retreat Center.
Carter brings a wealth of experience in leadership, human relations, project management, and accounting to the role. In addition, Carter has two decades of dharma practice, a warm and welcoming presence, and a deep commitment and lived experience around diversity, equity, and inclusion. For these reasons and more we’re confident in Carter’s ability to support RMERC’s mission to bring Buddhism and Dharma back into the natural world where they originated, and to create welcome and inclusive communities that are resourced to better address the ecological crisis, inextricably related social justice issues.
As we welcome Carter into this role, we also want to share our gratitude for Leilani Bush for her service in the interim position. She consistently brought vision, heart, and commitment that allowed us to arrive at this exciting moment. Leilani will return to her position on the Board of RMERC. Thank you Leilani!
