Thanks for your interest in gifting or sponsoring an RMERC retreat. We offer several options for gifting, include Retreat Gift Certificates, or Voucher Coupons, or Sponsorships, and we are happy to help you decide which is best for your situation.
Generally, it is best to arrange a gift before someone has signed up for a retreat. However, we can also work with circumstances where a recipient has already signed up, and we can credit their purchase with your gift.

Retreat Gift Certificates
If you purchase a Retreat Gift Certificate, we create an account for you and hold the funds in your account until you specify the gift recipient, at which time we move the funds from your account to theirs. The advantage of a Retreat Gift Certificate is that the funds are trackable, and refunds are possible if excess funds are in your account or in the recipient account (a 7% transaction fee applies to refunds).
The Retreat Gift Certificate is usually a good option if the recipient has already signed up for a retreat, or if you wish to cover the entire cost of a retreat but you are not sure of the exact amount of the retreat. Note that the ‘certificate’ is communicated to a recipient via email. Gift certificates are valid for 1 year.

Voucher Coupons
If you purchase a Voucher Coupon, we will provide you a Discount Code in the amount of the coupon, and you can send the code to the person of your choice, preferably before they have signed up for a retreat. When signing up, the recipient can enter the Discount Code and the cost of their retreat will be automatically reduced by the amount of the coupon.
Voucher Coupons can be a good choice if a recipient has not yet signed up for a retreat, and if you are gifting the partial cost of a retreat and the full cost is not known. Voucher Coupons are good for one year, but please NOTE: Voucher Coupons are not trackable and not refundable, so if you lose the code or if it is not used, we cannot give a refund. Voucher coupons expire after one year.
